Théâtre "Larzac !" à Saint Agil

Larzac! in Saint Agil. An actor-storyteller reveals the "popular treasures" of Larzac, its inhabitants, their lives, what's happening there today, and takes you to the heart of a collective organization of farmland: the Société Civile des Terres du Larzac, created in 1985 following the farmers' struggle against the planned extension of the military camp. Thanks to this organization, farming has never ceased on the plateau, and it's probably the only place where there are more farmers today than 40 years ago. Philippe Durand holds us spellbound in this magnificent, powerful one-man show, in which he lets us hear the raw words of the Larzaciens who are working on this exemplary social adventure.
