Festillésime 41 offers nearly 100 shows (music, theater, dance) in over 90 communes in the Loir-et-Cher region. Supported by the departmental council, this scheme promotes cultural events in rural areas and helps local authorities and associations to host shows.
Les petits chanteurs d?Asnières choir, with its famous Poppys group of some 40 children, regularly spends vacations and rehearsals in the Perche region. On this occasion, they will be giving an exceptional concert in the church of Saint-Cyr in Sargé-sur-Braye, drawing on their repertoire of French and Anglo-Saxon songs.
The concert is in aid of the restoration of the 12th-century church of Saint Martin, a treasure trove of medieval art, with its 14th-century murals and magnificent 16th-century painted wooden vault. Guided tours will take place before the concert, starting at 6pm, and after the concert, with a drink offered by the Association near the church.
