How to get here and where to park?

By road

By train

Vendôme is located on the high-speed train (TGV) Atlantic line, a 45 minute ride from Paris.

2 train stations in Vendôme:

TER station:
Located in the city center, 10 mn on foot from the historical center.
Regional trains: Paris-Austerlitz train station / Vendôme-station blvd de Trémault

TGV station Vendôme-Villiers-sur-Loir
Located 10 minutes by car from the city center of Vendôme.
Vendôme-Paris: 45 minutes / Vendôme-Tours: 20 minutes
Paris Montparnasse station / Vendôme station-Villiers-sur-Loir www.voyages-sncf.com

A Move bus (line A and the TGV shuttle bus) is available from the TGV train station to the city center (Tickets may be purchased on the bus, 1€).

There is a very practical way provided by the Centre-Val de Loire region to organize your own itinerary whatever your means of transport: car, bike, train, bus, carpooling, it’s called “JV malin”.

Parkings

In Vendôme

Look for the parking map of Vendôme.

In the white zone, parking is free and allowed in the same space for 7 consecutive days. This is the best solution if you’re parking for a half or a full day. In the blue zone, parking is free for a limited time, ideal for short-term.

Parking with a European parking disc in Vendôme: from Monday to Saturday between 8:30am to 7:00pm. Limit: 2 hours.

In Montoire-sur-le Loir

Free parking in Montoire-sur-le-Loir (in the white and blue zones). Several parking lots available in the city center:

. place de la Mairie
. place Clémenceau
. quartier Marescot
. plus others in the vicinity: rue Lemoine, rue Saint-Denis, rue Saint-Jacques and rue Saint-Laurent
. next to the city center: blvd des Alliés, blvd Mermoz, rue de l’Abattoir.
Careful: in the blue zone (free parking), parking is limited to 2 hours all year long from Monday to Saturday from 9:00am to noon, and from 2:00 to 5:00 pm (except on Sundays and bank holidays).

Compulsory parking disc must be put inside your car on the dashboard, visible from the outside.

Parking lots and access for people with reduced mobility are reserved at place de la Mairie, rue Saint-Denis, place Clémenceau, place Foch and blvd des Alliés.

Fréteval & Mondoubleau

No particular restriction concerning parking in Fréteval & Mondoubleau. It is free and without blue zone.

Ride electric

Electric charging stations were set up in different areas by “Modulo”

The stations are available in and around Vendôme located near public services and touristic sites, these stations are open 24/7.
