The Quatuor à Vendôme festival-academy returns to the Vendôme region from July 21 to 27. As every year since 2017, some twenty young artists are welcomed to the Monceau Assurances campus to perfect their skills with Quatuor Voce, Rémi Delangle and their guests.
8:30 pm Mozart in Vendôme - Chapelle Saint Jacques. Mozart seems to have found an incomparable ease and jubilation in the formation of the quintet for two violas. We know that he was especially fond of the viola, and that when he played in an ensemble, he was happy to hold that part to feel immersed in the heart of the music. We also know the extreme care he always took, even as a child, in writing the intermediate voices. So it's easy to see why he was so happy in this genre, which gave pride of place to this instrument... and his happiness is contagious! The quartet is joined on this occasion by the wildly creative violist Julian Boutin. W. A. Mozart, quintets for 2 violas KV. 406b and KV. 614. Quatuor Voce, string quartet Julian Boutin, viola.
