The historical, geological and archaeological site of Les Grouais is located on the Pezou/Saint-Firmin road (Route de la Vallée du Loir, west of Petit Chicheray). Genesis of the Loir Valley in 5 successive terraces for 700,000 years. Stratigraphic section of tools from the Acheulean to the Neolithic. Presence of the 3rd terrace 300,000 to 150,000 BC. Free visit (teaching tables on site). Clarification: site not accessible to disabled people.
