Unusual walk in the vineyards

The wine-grower Charles Jumert offers to show you his vineyards in a one-hour tour.

This visit is unique, since you will do it on a carriage pulled by a tractor from the 1950´s (another of Charles’ passions.)

To take part in this unusual oenological visit, since the number of seats is limited to six, you must  reserve 24 hours in advance

Price per person: 10€, children under 16: 5€.

According to Charles Jumert, the “AOC Coteaux du Vendômois” appellation has afforded an identity to the wine-dressers of Vendôme area. For instance, he has kept vines planted by his great grand-father 110 years ago, and he will show them to you with great pleasure during your visit in a carriage…

One of his sons is the 8th generation of wine-growers in the family.

Vineyards and discovery

The label “Vignobles et Découvertes” created in 2009 promotes tourism around the theme of wine and vineyards.  The “Vignobles en Vallée du Loir” destination earned the label in 2010 and guarantees quality and an unforgettable stay.
