Festival o fil du Loir

This festival was born of a group of friends on a beautiful evening in the summer of 2022, returning from the Festival d’Avignon and the Festival “En passant par la Loire” in Veuzain-sur-Loire.

Why not create their own open-air theater festival, bringing together friends, artists, Loir Valley residents and passing visitors?

At Ronsard’s Birthplace from 5 to 7 June 2026

A programme packed with comedy, romance, musicals, historical dramas, retro classics and contemporary films – let’s laugh our way through the crisis!

2026 Programme:

For this new edition, the festival team has put together a magnificent selection of shows for even more joy, emotion and unforgettable performances! To kick things off, an evening of “total bliss” with the extraordinary musical Virginie et Paul and its infectious feel-good vibe, followed by the wild musicians of Gang of Musette who will set the open-air dance floor alight around their caravan!
On Saturday evening, more comedy, sprinkled with mystery, featuring a brilliantly rhythmic reimagining of the Jack the Ripper legend, followed by a strange gardener named Denise who’ll certainly keep you entertained… And finally, on Sunday, it’s time for women and humour with Laura Elko’s dazzling show and a female trio.
