The excursion train of the Loir valley

Get on board this old charming excursion train for a journey in the Loir valley.

This train from the 50s will take you to Trôo, a little troglodytic town.

Let's go!

The train which was restored in the colors of the Loir valley, will travel up to 30km per hour over a 3-hour ride through the green countryside.

Commentaries and a video will tell you more about what to do in the Vendôme area.

During the journey.

Before reaching the railway station of Trôo (the train’s final destination) it will stop next to the TGV line where high speed trains zip by at up to 300 km per hour!

The train’s departure point is Thoré-la-Rochette station which now houses a wine and local products shop where you will be able to do a wine tasting at the end of your trip.

If you like sports, why don’t you get to the train station by bike along the Santiago de Compostela road or the Loir valley…

Ideal activity with family or friends. Can be reserved online.
