For the third year running, the Commanderie d?Arville is offering a new evening music event this summer. Courseval introduces the public to a singular musical universe, that of bardcore: a movement that revisits contemporary pop hits in the style of medieval musicians. What would Lady Gaga's Bad Romance or Ed Sheeran's Shape of You have sounded like in the 14th or 15th centuries? Like minstrels from another time, the musicians reinterpret these titles using ancient instruments such as recorders, lutes, medieval harps, drums and cymbalettes.
