Four women bring Aurore Dupin—who became George Sand (1804–1876)—back to life.

"L'Hectare 'George sans s'" is on sale. Choosing a man's first name to write novels was, for her, both a form of protection and a conquest of freedom: to dress as she pleased, to love freely, to break the rules, to debate politics, and to celebrate life. In the 19th century, George Sand blazed a bold trail, challenging social conventions and gender roles. Even today, she stands as one of the pioneers of feminism. Drawing inspiration from this liberated figure, the four artists bring to life the characters and landscapes of her novels, reminding us that her struggles remain as relevant as ever. Suitable for all ages 12 and up.
