The Baendr de l?Andelle troupe takes over the Commanderie d?Arville for two days devoted to discovering the world of Viking mercenaries in the 10th century. A human-scale event, conducive to exchange, observation and exploration of a little-known part of Viking history.

Rendez-vous "histo" - Viking mercenaries at the Commanderie d'Arville. The Baendr de l?Andelle troupe takes over the Commanderie d?Arville for two days devoted to discovering the world of Viking mercenaries in the 10th century. A human-scale event, conducive to exchange, observation and exploration of a little-known part of Viking history. Set up under a number of tents, these historical re-enactment enthusiasts will share their know-how on everyday life: bone, horn and woodworking, sewing, basketry, and the presentation of a small country forge. Combat demonstrations will be offered at various times throughout the day.
