Inspired by Marius Petipa's choreography, Rudolf Nureyev's Don Quixote is a ballet rich in humor and virtuosity. A veritable feast of dance, it features soloists and corps de ballet in a wide variety of ensembles and pas de deux. Written in the 17th century, Cervantes' novel recounts the adventures of Don Quixote, who one day decides to ride across Spain alongside the naïve Sancho Pança.
