Just 500 years ago, Pierre de Ronsard was born at the Manoir de la Possonnière. What better place than his birthplace to stage a live show retracing his life? The "Ronsard en Scène" association was created to put on the show.

Ronsard on stage at the Maison natale de Ronsard. More than 75 local amateur actors will share some ninety roles. "Ronsard par Ronsard", the poet will be the narrator. Pierre de Ronsard was a man of the court, devoted to his sovereigns, but also a man of the countryside, an epicurean, close to nature, which he passionately defended.
